Photos by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shadedegges.com\/\">Shade Degges.<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Being the space was a new build, decor took precedence over renovation, however, the kitchen was in need of a makeover. &#8220;One of the main challenges was the kitchen,&#8221; Alpert notes. &#8220;It originally featured Thermofoil cabinetry, and after exploring ways to work within the existing material, we ultimately decided the best solution was to replace all of the cabinet fronts with paint-grade finishes.
